Description

Water covers nearly 70% of the earth surface but aquatic resources remain underexplored. Aquatic resources are biotic elements of the aquatic ecosystem, including organisms or parts thereof, populations, etc. that are central to maintaining good health and well-being.

We invite scientists to submit original research papers, short communications, and review articles on, but not limited to, biological properties of aquatic natural origin, highlighting their potentials as therapeutic agents against human health complications. The application of innovative scientific approaches in the extraction, characterization, and testing of novel aquatic biocompounds is welcome.

We hope that this Special Issue will make a noteworthy contribution to our knowledge of the importance of aquatic resources as the next-generation therapeutics in drug discovery and pharmacology.
